Okie, we have a whole mountain of pictures to share, especially Raymond’s travel collection when he went over to China for a shoot. But today I’m sharing something interesting. My parents’ wedding pictures! =D

This is a one and only piece of family portrait in my family before I was born. So precious because there’s no negatives returned, and seriously, this is the only piece. ONLY piece. So many siblings inside the picture, but my dad gets to keep this maybe because he’s the eldest son? But he’s not the eldest children in the family. Hehe. I was wondering how come the bestman and my dad wears the same thing. Quite misleading! =p

6 sisters and 1 brother. Actually got few more brothers, but you know, families in the past cannot afford so many children, so had no choice but to give away. Some left Planet Earth already when they were young. =(

My mum pretty much hates her makeup that day. No choice cos they had a super tight budget, and this is the best my dad and his family could provide already.

When I was born, I grew up and started drawing things all over the house. This should be one of my masterpiece before I even went to Kindergarten. I will always remember this because I got wacked extremely badly by my dad when he saw this. It’s really lucky that I didn’t draw on the other side. Cos this is actually the one and only piece of family portrait!! Sigh… at that time I didn’t know why did my dad canned me for drawing. Now that I realised the value of pictures, I can understand his then position.

Maybe it’s a sign that I will be an artist when I grow up what. No?? =p

My mum and dad’s tea ceremony. Dad was holding the plate of teacups while mum served to my 3rd uncle, and my grandmother watched at the side. Hmm… Interesting.

Their night banquet. No table to table shoots! Only candids. How cool!! These people are part of my mum’s family.

No yum seng, so you get to yum seng individually with the different tables.

And then they made the groom drink. My dad doesnt drink alcohol at all so I wonder what happened to him after this glass. Hmm… Oh, no speeches, no gate crashing too! =\

Going back already! My mum wore a pink cheongsam, with a pink tiny hat + feathers. She still keep this cheongsam though!! Can wear for my own wedding. Muwahahahahaha!!

Now that’s me looking at the photographer. Maybe it’s a sign that I’ll have my eyes on a wedding photographer in future when I grow up. That’s why I’m happily in love together with Raymond now.

For now, let’s enjoy the pictures from Jack and Grace’s actual day wedding!

Grace’s wedding gown has a suuuuper duper long train! I wonder how did she manage to survive through her wedding day! O_O”!

Pretty Grace! She’s an Air Stewardess with Singapore International Airline (SIA), and she flew with Misako before! Misako is one of our wedding couple, and she’s really well loved by kids. A natural kid magnet. Hehehe. But she’s a real nice lady.  Grace is a nice lady too! I think she’s really meticulous and observant. She noticed that I bought Chrysanthemum tea during our first prawning session, and during our next prawning session, she actually bought Chrysanthemum tea for us!

Here comes the “Black Society”.

This is Jack! He’s a sales manager with SG Vehicles Trading. Buy car can call him, sell car can call him, anything to do with 4 wheels and an engine, call him. Muwahahaha. That’s what he posted on his Facebook!

I secretly think this guy is charming… (*.*) …Ok, now it’s not a secret.

Drinking some potent yucky liquid! One of the “cannot miss” items during the gatecrashing session. Eeeeeew!

I can still remember something Jack told us when we returned from Australia last November for catching up session. We went to look for him at his workplace to pass him some stuff, and we had duck rice for lunch somewhere nearby. It was pouring cats and dogs. Halfway through our lunch, an old folk approached us to sell us tissues. Three packet for a dollar. Without any question, Jack quickly reached for his pocket and bought the tissues. Then he told us, if it was the old him in the past, he wouldn’t even have thought of doing that. But being with Grace taught him otherwise, and she changed him for the better. Grace is a person with a kind heart. Awwww… so sweet right!!!

At that moment, it totally changed my impression of Grace. Because when we first met up, Jack and Grace were “nursing” some hangover from partying, and she was like dressed up and ready to “kill” anytime. So I thought hmm… must be Ah lian.. Hahaha! =X

But after getting to know her better, she’s really someone worth befriending.

First night they displayed the prawns on the table, and sprinkled packets of salt on them before poking them with the skewers. Then you can see how the prawns struggled by flapping their tails vigorously, and how their legs moved rapidly in hope to struggle and break free from the human hands. For those with claws, the guys will break them by pulling it apart from the body and throw them aside. There was this 2 giant prawns which left me deep impression. Jack was holding onto 1 of them, preparing to poke it with the skewer, but that prawn was holding onto the claw of the other prawn of the same size. Gives me a feeling that it doesn’t want to die, or it doesnt want to leave the other prawn, which could possibly be his/her partner. So sad I tell you!

Second night was the same, but this time, they poke the prawns and soaked them in a pail of very salty salt water. Must be damn painful. Some of the prawns were pregnant and you can see a whole lot of orange colored tiny round things inside their body. Quite disgusting.  =X

Prawning is fun and filled with excitement. The process is fun, but I don’t like the part on killing them. Sigh… But prawning can help you to train your level of patience and at the same time helps you destress because you have to focus very hard. Focusing hard makes you think about nothing else but the prawning session and not about work. Raymond had 101% of his attention totally devoted when he was prawning. When I tried to ask him questions, he doesn’t respond because he was really focusing very hard. Jack even tried to call him while he was BBQ-ing the prawn at the BBQ pit, but Raymond didn’t repond either. Tsk tsk tsk. Make a guess when was the only time Raymond responded. It was when he heard the magic word – NASI LEMAK!

I want to faint already. For Raymond, it is really “Food makes the world goes round”. Hahahahaha!! Anyway, I’ll share on Jack and Grace’s wedding pictures when I manage to lay my hands on them. Right now there’s only Kash & Charlotte on my laptop while the rest are with Raymond.

Raymond told me when the brothers were blowing up the balloons, the balloons kept bursting in their faces and hurt quite a bit. I guess that’s why Kash looked a little scared here. Hehehe. Punishment for climbing over the gate. =p

Charlotte’s gown is really pretty, and she can really bring out the colour of the dress. Maybe because she’s tall?

I like this one too! No idea why, but feels like some comedy gang triad (斧头帮) scene from Stephen Chow’s movie flick – Kungfu Hustle. Wahahahahaha!

I like this one as well. I guess it is a normal reaction for us to open our mouth when we’re feeding others. Very cute.

Ok, the evil friends and evil brothers made Kash drank some liquor.

No choice, he had to drink. He glurped them down at one go, and everyone was staring in disbelief.

Kekekeke. He must have had a hard time pretending to be fine after that. =p

I noticed friends will always share some “secrets” with the groom during weddings. But I never got to know what’s the secret they were sharing.

Then, they’ll end up laughing like this! Must be something “evil”…  Muwahahahaha~

So I started flipping through the stacks of magazine, and every magazine managed to catch my attention. A lot of magazines were on the Watches, and that’s when I got more and more interested in them! Now I’m pretty scared that the interest will grow! Cos you need a lot of moolahs to keep up… =_=”…. Anyway, a few pictures of the watches to share! Watches which caught my eyes when I flipped through some of the magazines, one of which was The Peak.

I’ve always thought that Rolex are all the same, in old gold color, for old people. I must have been hiding in the mountain hole for toooo long! This is Rolex’s Yacht Master II, and it’s so pretty as well right??

All the expensive watches. Maybe I should learn photography and be a watch photographer! Then I can see all the pretty watches in real life and put my fingerprint all over them. Wahahahaha.

Anyway, here’s something really sweet to share! The other day Raymond and I met up with a couple – Jonald and Yutong. Before our meeting, I was jokingly asking Jonald over SMS how do we identify each other since we’ve never met before. Then I jokingly suggested that we carry a rose each for identification purposes. So Jonald asked how about Sunflower… And I jokingly replied cannot, sunflower seed then can. So the half of the day passed by with our meeting of few other couples, and when Jonald + Yutong came, Jonald placed a plastic bag on the table and shove it infront of me. The plastic bag has this really inspiring words printed on it “Live Well”. O_O”!!

I took a peep into the bag and saw something which I have never expected at all!!! MY GOODNESS!! A SUNFLOWER & PEPITA BAR!!!

Raymond and I dropped our jaws cos we were sooooooooooo shocked and surprised by this!! OO_OO”!!

I didn’t know where to hide my face because I didn’t prepare any sunflower nor roses, cos I was really joking all along! Almost felt like digging a hole, or burying my face in Raymond’s tummy for the rest of our meetup with them. =X

Seriously, it’s been a real long time since Raymond and I felt this way. Super duper ultra hyper flubber rubbery surprised!! It’s no wonder Jonald managed to capture Yutong’s heart. Hehehehe. Oh by the way, Yutong is really pretty! She looked like this Hong Kong actress – Myolie Hu Xing Er (胡杏兒)!!

The plastic is a little misty cos we really really really couldn’t bear to eat it, so we placed it safely in the fridge! But honestly, we were sooo tempted to try it!

Last night I had a Red Color Dream. Red color, because I find the dream eerie. I dreamt that everynight, there’s a woman crying from somewhere.. seems to come from downstairs, just a level below me. For every night, the woman kept crying and crying, and with the passing days, her cries got louder and louder. One day, I finally couldn’t take it anymore and decided to check it out for myself. I opened the door and saw that the light to my corridoor was flickering. Then I pushed open the gates to my house, wore my ugly slippers and I almost went off already when Raymond called me on my mobile phone!! Urgh! So I woke up. =_=”

Well, that phone call might have came just in time to rescue me from a terrible nightmare. So I guess I gotta thank him for it! Phew! Must be the Big Mac meal I had last night for supper. Maybe tonight I’ll try eating candies, since I heard on class 95fm that sweet smelling things can possibly lead to sweet dreams. Hehehe.

Speaking of sweet, let me share something that our doggie has brought to our lives.

Everyday when we return home, our doggie never fail to give us pleasant surprises! See, so artistically done. We simply enjoy the opportunity to bond with each other when we clean up the mess together.  (like real)

Animals have their own way of expressing gratitude and thankfulness, and this was how our doggie expressed his! That’s actually his form of “reward” for us for leaving him alone at home the whole day. We love it when he innocently flap his ears down pointing backwards and quietly sit at a corner while he watches how we truly appreciate his creation by keeping them in the plastic bags. That’s how we ended up with missing socks and shoes.

Then we’ll always “educate” him not to give us so many heart attacks! Raymond said we need to be firm like this! I think I had the 3M velcro on. Hehehe.

Other days, he’s much more sweeter, especially when we have the time to accompany him.

Or when we bring him to the Vet for jabs and check up.

And when he sleeps, he’s truly an Angel. So poor thing, got no bolster to hug. Ah, that’s also how our pen/erasers went missing!! =_=”

Having a pet is a good thing, but it is also a responsibility. You have a duty to spend time with them, care for them, respect them and treat them like any human beings. Not sell them away, give them away, or leave them to die in drains or industrial area when they are old or sickly or dying. Think of the happy times you’ve spent together. How they stick by you and watch you cry when you’re upset, because that’s their best way of providing comfort since they cannot speak. Aiyah, think of this I want to cry already. Better start on my pictures now! Byebye!

Being super busy is a good thing, so that one cannot complain. Being super busy with things that we enjoy doing, that’s supposed to be a good thing! But the folks always tell us too much of any one thing is bad, which is very true…

I cannot remember which incident was the beginning of the February nightmare, but let’s just start from Raymond’s jaw problem which began way before the CNY. The X-ray was fine, he was referred to a couple of doctors, even to the dental clinic, but they only gave him painkillers, advised him to talk less and avoid eating food which requires a lot of strength to chew. Until today, the pain spreads to the eardrum, and to the head. I really hope it can only get better after a consultation with the Chinese Physician at Chien Chi Tow – Bendeemer yesterday evening.

February is also the month I tripped and fell on the rough grounds. Feels like a piece of pork lard being slammed violently onto the floor with a gigantic force. I was carrying 3 wedding albums together with DVD box, my nanny bag which has a lot of stuffs inside. So everything flew out from everywhere, and it took me quite a long while to get up. I thought maybe I’ve sprained or fractured a bone here or there since it was hurting quite badly from the inside. Nobody was around to help me up, I had to gather all my belongings and picked myself up slowly. I almost cried! Limped my way to the nearest place to sit.

That was right after I SMS-ed Ho Wei to inform him that we’ve received his deposit for booking confirmation in the mail. I cannot believe how coincidental the events were happening concurrently over both our sides when I saw his reply. Long story, but that’s not the main point. I only hope I write about some Toto entry and he happens to read it. Then I will win Toto (even though I don’t bet). Hahaha!

Carried on to meet Teck Yong and Wan Ling at Bugis with a growling tummy and limping leg, but actually I feel really happy that our meet up lasted almost 4 hours! Haha! Simply enjoy chatting with couples! Then I was looking through Kenneth & Jojo’s wedding pictures while the guys were having casual chats, and I suddenly missed them. So I sent them an SMS before heading for dinner after the meet up concludes around 12 midnight. Edwin and Eunice whom we met few days back were also really fun people to talk to!

Then I started to have some personal thoughts about the fall. Trying to recall when was the last time I actually fell down physically, and how did I managed to get up. When was the last time I fell (not physically this time), and how did I manage to get through the dark period. In fact, that very fall I had triggered an alarm and sets a reminder telling me that every person will fall someday, and every person will face the tough times. We don’t cry, because it doesn’t make us any less painful. We just have to take a short rest if we have to, and then pick ourselves up after that! Even without anyone around, you can do it! But if you’re not willing to help yourself in the first place, I give you a billion helping hands also no use. =_=”

Perhaps it was the very irregular mealtime hours, I developed a really bad gastric few days later. The worst I’ve ever had so far. Raymond almost sent me to the Hospital since the gastric pills didn’t work, but I insisted that he let me curl up at home to rest. Glad it was over by the next morning.

After that, down with sudden attacks of cough which is becoming so irritating and frequent now at night, terrible blocked nose so it’s hard to breathe properly, not forgetting the throat which felt like thorns were growing inside!

Last night when I was sleeping, I dreamt about eating Yu Sheng (must be very hungry!!) and I got woken up because I actually bit my lips! O_O”! 

Physical booboos aside, Raymond’s desktop had some critical problem as well! But luckily we’re the very kiasu people so we always do checks and backups of  all the photos and datas once we get back from all the shoots. We had to spend quite a sum of money to upgrade and stabilise the whole system. Glad it’s up and running now, except for some ftp server issue cos Raymond switched to using the wretched Windows Vista 64 bit instead of Windows XP!

Next, my laptop caught some weird About.Brontok.A virus, end up my dummy camera’s memory card was infected too!! There goes my pictures! It then spreaded over to Raymond’s laptop… =_=”…

I don’t know what other yucky things are going to happen to us, but I can only wish February will go away very fast since it seems to be a yucky month! And of course, let’s hope that March onwards will be way better!!

Tsk. I’m missing all our couples now actually… But I guess everyone has been busy with their lives, especially so after embarking on a new journey. I hope they’re all doing good now.
