A super big surprise!

I have something I want to share! It’s actually a little fear of mine. It only grew on the 2 March when I went to Doctor Bernard Cheong’s clinic at Bukit Batok for consultation. There was a long queue, so after registering myself, I sat at a corner and started flipping through the stacks of magazine. I don’t usually flip magazines, because personally I don’t like to read fashion/beauty magazines. They usually make people like me depressed and gives me the wrong impression to form the wrong perception. Ah, you get the drift. I’m however really interested in reading materials related to medical science, technology, world and nature, but very rarely the business reads. :)

So I started flipping through the stacks of magazine, and every magazine managed to catch my attention. A lot of magazines were on the Watches, and that’s when I got more and more interested in them! Now I’m pretty scared that the interest will grow! Cos you need a lot of moolahs to keep up… =_=”…. Anyway, a few pictures of the watches to share! Watches which caught my eyes when I flipped through some of the magazines, one of which was The Peak.

The DeWitt WX-1! Super duper pretty! O_O”!!!

This one is KingSquare, ladies version by Roger Dubuis. Super pretty too right??

I’ve always thought that Rolex are all the same, in old gold color, for old people. I must have been hiding in the mountain hole for toooo long! This is Rolex’s Yacht Master II, and it’s so pretty as well right??

All the expensive watches. Maybe I should learn photography and be a watch photographer! Then I can see all the pretty watches in real life and put my fingerprint all over them. Wahahahaha. :P

Anyway, here’s something really sweet to share! The other day Raymond and I met up with a couple – Jonald and Yutong. Before our meeting, I was jokingly asking Jonald over SMS how do we identify each other since we’ve never met before. Then I jokingly suggested that we carry a rose each for identification purposes. So Jonald asked how about Sunflower… And I jokingly replied cannot, sunflower seed then can. So the half of the day passed by with our meeting of few other couples, and when Jonald + Yutong came, Jonald placed a plastic bag on the table and shove it infront of me. The plastic bag has this really inspiring words printed on it “Live Well”. O_O”!!

I took a peep into the bag and saw something which I have never expected at all!!! MY GOODNESS!! A SUNFLOWER & PEPITA BAR!!!

Raymond and I dropped our jaws cos we were sooooooooooo shocked and surprised by this!! OO_OO”!!

I didn’t know where to hide my face because I didn’t prepare any sunflower nor roses, cos I was really joking all along! Almost felt like digging a hole, or burying my face in Raymond’s tummy for the rest of our meetup with them. =X

Seriously, it’s been a real long time since Raymond and I felt this way. Super duper ultra hyper flubber rubbery surprised!! It’s no wonder Jonald managed to capture Yutong’s heart. Hehehehe. Oh by the way, Yutong is really pretty! She looked like this Hong Kong actress – Myolie Hu Xing Er (胡杏兒)!!

Hehehe. Now we have a general idea how she’s gonna look like on her wedding day already. :P

Anyway, a few pictures to share!! It says BE NATURAL, so we were trying to be our natural self when posing with the bar.

The plastic is a little misty cos we really really really couldn’t bear to eat it, so we placed it safely in the fridge! But honestly, we were sooo tempted to try it! :D

More of the Be Natural. Been a long time since I last shot with the dummy camera after it’s memory card got infested with the sicko About.Brontok.A virus.

Okie, my turn to Be Natural! Be Natural means to show all the wrinkley lines and pimples and scars!

A super big Thank You to Jonald and Yutong for the sunflower bar!! We’ll be counting down to 7 November 2009 for your wedding too! Hehehe.

Back to work already! Cheers! :)

Lots of ♥,

Happy Deepavali!

Hope you guys enjoyed the long weekend!! Deepavali marks the day we finished clearing 2 wedding shoots! Phew! At least we can now fly with a lighter heart. I’ve been checking on the weather forecast and it doesn’t look too good. Hmm…

Anyway, Happy Deepavali to all indian friends!! Or according to my crappy term, Happy Deepaveryvali! :) I have a very good indian friend, and her name is Jaya. I have another indian friend whom I like alot, and his name is Dinesh. A little sad that he wasn’t around today at Jaya’s place for a gathering. Met them during my JC days. :)

So the gathering was at Jaya’s place in Woodlands, and Raymond tagged along because wherever there’s food, there’s Raymond. Jaya’s mum cooked the meanest Nasi Bryani! Raymond had nothing but full of good comments and praises for the food. I was so worried that the rice in his mouth were gona fly out and land on the curry in front of us when he kept saying “this is excellent stuff man!” with truckloads of food in his mouth.

Me on the other hand didn’t manage to eat a lot, because I cannot take spicy food. And there was no Papadum. You know how delicious Papdum is right? Just a simple cracker but somehow I just cannot resist it. I’d take a piece and use it to scoop the bryani rice, pour a little bit (area of a sesame seed) of curry on the rice, a little bit of meat, and then munch munch munch. It’s nice!! Maybe next time you can try it. :D

I don’t have a lot of friends, because… I don’t know… maybe because I’m never on the right frequency with people I meet. And I don’t even have a friend whom I think I can give hugs to on my wedding day. Hmm… That’s sad. But oh well… here’s a little peep of my JC classmates. If you happen to know any of them, feel free to drop them a buzz and tell them they’ve grown horizontally empowered. MUWAHAHAHAHA! :P

Yah, I was wearing the Indian costume, hiding at the back, standing beside the Kungfu Panda. Hahaha! Alright, gotta go catch some sleep already! I need to wake up early and start packing! 2 more days to fly~ :)

Thankew Andrew & Clarice! :)

Yesterday was Andrew & Clarice’s AD shoot. I took a sneak peek at their wedding pictures, and I have a pretty good feeling about it. So much smiles and laughters and corny funny expressions! Raymond must have had a great time capturing yesterday’s session. :D Can’t wait to peep at the evening session’s! Cos Clarice’s Dad gave speech, sing song, and there’s dances too!! Wait wait, let me finished the current 3 batches of photos first. Guan Lim & Jeslin, Anamika & Pradeepto, Su Lynn & Wei Hann. I’ve looked through some of Anamika’s already, gonna look through Su Lynn’s after that. Jiayou!

Anyway, Raymond called me at 1.40+am in the morning after his shoot and told me about this red packet.

Quickly snapped this with my little camera. Quality cannot fight with the monster camera. Anyway, So sweet of you guys to leave a love note for him!! But wait… Why don’t have my name on it huhhh? *Fumes with anger* HAHAHA!! Kidding kidding!! :D

Raymond said when Andrew first gave him the ang pow, he rejected. But Andrew kept insisting, so Raymond had to accept it. We totally didn’t expect this at all! But the thought of leaving us a love note like this really touched our hearts. So what we did was to throw away the dollar bills inside, and kept the red packet in a safe place. Cool and dry, away from the sunlight. Muwahahaha! Seriously, we’ll keep it with us always. :)

Just to share another red packet. It’s from Su Lynn & Wei Hann. We thought it looked rather stylish, just like the simple wedding affair they had at St Regis. :)

Ta-Dah! The 1/2 naked photographer Mr Raymond Phang holding the 2 red packets. I distorted the perspective a little, so it’s a little curved if you’ve noticed. Hehe.

Oh by the way, thanks Desmond & Jolene for the comments left on our thread at the SingaporeBrides forum. You guys are too kind already! Look forward to your AD shoot next year, and let’s catch up again sometime ya?

Cheers! :)

Lots of ♥,
